The National Championship is the most important "event box" of ACSI cycling, that is, the schedule in which the most sought-after and popular events are included.
The Gran Fondo Via del Sale Fantini Club has always been one of the most sought-after events by cyclists because the offer is so extensive that it can please all types of cyclists: from those who are more performance and competitive oriented to those who love pure cycling tourism.
The logic of the awarding of prizes for the trials included in the ACSI calendar is structured in such a way as to enhance participation rather than the competitive result, as ACSI is convinced that, in dealing with amateur activities, this is the direction to be taken.
PRESTIGIO
The Prestigio di Cicloturismo is the most important circuit in the international Gran Fondo calendar and includes the main events that have made (and continue to make) the history of the amateur sporting movement. Since 1996, the Prestigio di Cicloturismo has been the "beacon" of granfondistica activity as well as the heart of the most beautiful and exciting feats that can be conquered in the saddle of one's own bicycle. For those who finally manage to conquer the tricolour championship and take the title of Prestigious, the feat is even more legendary...
NALINI ROAD SERIES
The circuit, launched in November 2020 under the aegis of ACSI, bears the name of the Mantuan brand Nalini, title sponsor of the project. In 2021 the circuit will include 12 events, among the most attended and appreciated in the Italian amateur panorama, for a tour that will touch 7 Italian regions.
A circuit created with the desire to open a new season of cycling under the sign of rebirth and celebration of the great passion that unites cycling enthusiasts. Among the races, there will be the Gran Fondo Via del Sale Fantini Club, the most prestigious race opening the season.
The circuit envisages the following awards for those who will take part in at least 5 races: the first 5 classified in each category (medium and long routes), individual prizes for brevets, the 10 clubs with the highest number of final brevets.
ALÉ CHALLENGE
The Alé Challenge consists of ten exciting events to compete on some of the most popular routes in the North East. The Alé Challenge prize, the coveted goal of the event, can be obtained by completing at least five out of ten routes and many prizes are reserved for patented cyclists: individual prizes, prizes for the first three clubs with the highest number of patented cyclists and for the club with the highest number of kilometres ridden by patented cyclists.
with the highest number of kilometres ridden by patented cyclists only. There are also awards for the best 10 in each category, with 9 male and 3 female categories.
The Gran Fondo Via del Sale is the first important stage of the circuit.
TROFEO SAP SPORT RAVENNA – TROFEO CESP
This will be the 15th edition of the SAP-SPORTravenna Trophy, a trophy dedicated to all members of the Police and Armed Forces. The competition is open to members of the State Police, the Carabinieri - Carabinieri Forestali, the Guardia di Finanza, the Prison Police, the Fire Brigade, the Harbour Office, the Provincial Police and the Local Police. Prizes will be awarded, by a special jury composed of the Provincial Authorities, to the first three women classified and the first three men classified on the medium and long routes. The aim of the initiative is to reward those who, while sharing a passion for cycling, wear a uniform. At the event, everyone is united by the same passion, which is cycling!
It will also be the 11th edition of the CESP Trophy, which will reward the first member of the State Police classified in the long route. The C.E.S.P. (European Council of Police Unions) represents around 300,000 police officers from 19 European countries. The SAP expresses, in this body, the Deputy General Secretary, who, on several occasions, attended the event in Cervia.
COPPA AIMANC (Italian Association of Magistrates, Lawyers, Notaries and Cyclists)
THE A.I.M.A.N.C. (Italian Association of Magistrates, Lawyers, Notaries and Cyclists) was officially founded in 1998 with the aim of promoting cycling by members of the three orders listed in its name for recreational, sporting and health promotion purposes. It is chaired by lawyer Manlio D'Amico of the Bologna Bar and every year it organises the Italian Forensic Championship, cycling meetings and rides on racing bikes and MTBs, sports law conferences (accredited by the Bar Councils) and once a year a training and cycling weekend in the Pearl of the Dolomites in Cortina d'Ampezzo.
Also for the year 2021 we are pleased to have as a partnership the Gran Fondo Via del sale which will award, as it has been for the last 5 years, the prestigious AIMANC Cup to the first male and female lawyer, magistrate or notary in good standing with the membership fees of the current year in the medium course.
