What is the registration fee and what is included?

The entry fee is the same whether you choose to tackle the long or medium route

The entry fee varies depending on when you register.
For more information, please visit the “registration” section of the website.

The organisation of the competition, as provided by Sportur, includes mechanical and medical assistance during the race, road closure control, assistants and volunteers.

The registration fee also includes:

Bike Breakfast - coffee directly on the starting grid
Awards ceremony
Bib with the name
Race pack - gadgets and food & drink products
Enervit Water Bottles and Envelopes
Celebratory Medal
Refreshments in the race
Pasta Party at the end of the race

Should I choose in advance which route to take?

It is possible to decide on which route to take during the event itself, following the relevant signposting. Medical and mechanical assistance, as well as crossing control, are guaranteed on the long and medium routes.

What documents are required to register to Granfondo Via del Sale?

At the time of registration, the following will be requested:
Biographical data (first name, last name, residence, email, phone)
Tax code
Body of membership
Cycling club of affiliation and company code
Membership number
Valid medical certificate for cycling
Chip number (if in possession)
Willingness to participate in affiliated Circuits reserved for professional orders

Where can I verify my registration?

You will be able to independently verify your registration on the Winning Time website at the link: https://www.endu.net/it/events/granfondo-la-via-del-sale/entry/verify after accessing the restricted area with your credentials.
As you scroll down the page you will find fields to enter your first and last name and search.

Can I participate in the Granfondo Via del Sale even if I am not registered for any company?

Participation is permitted for ACSI Ciclismo members and all organisations and federations belonging to the Consulta Nazionale Ciclismo with valid membership cards for the current year.

Those who are not in possession of a valid membership card may participate by subscribing to a daily membership card with insurance coverage limited to the duration of the sporting event at a cost of €10.00. Together with the subscription of the day card, the athlete must produce the medical certificate of fitness for competitive activity, and the ethics declaration to take part in the event.

Professionals, ex-professionals (before the date of their amateur card) may only take part in the event if invited by the O.C. and will not be classified. They may not, however, influence the competitive outcome of the event.

For foreign card-carrying members, participation is only permitted if they are in possession of a valid membership card issued by their home federation. For foreign cyclists not in possession of such a card, participation is only permitted with the signing of the daily card, the production of the medical certificate of fitness for competitive activity together with the signing of the ethics declaration.

How can I update my card code?

In order to complete your registration, you MUST communicate your membership card number valid for the 2025 season. You can update your membership code yourself by accessing your personal area at https://join.endu.net/fee?idiscritto=0&editionId=92921&orderType=web+group

What is the procedure for making a name change or canceling a registration?

The replacement or cancellation of an athlete will only be accepted by 15 February 2025, subject to payment of a fee of EUR 10.00 for secretarial costs.
In the event of the replacement of an athlete, the fee must be paid by the specified date together with the new athlete's details.
In the event of a cancellation, the fee must be paid by the given date together with the request to keep the registration valid for the 2026 edition.
Under no circumstances can the fee be refunded.
Send your request to info@granfondoviadelsale.com, the organisation will provide the bank details on which to make the payment.

What are the times for picking up the race pack and what should I bring with me?

Verification of the badge, delivery of material and race number at Fantini Club (Palasportur administration area - (Lungomare G. Deledda 182 Cervia).
RACE PACK PICK UP PROCEDURE (for on-line registrations): after completing the registration, cyclists must print the e-mail message received upon registration, which contains all relevant data. The printed e-mail message must be presented at the administration area. Those who have not printed their e-mail message can have it printed at the dedicated area upon payment of an administration fee of € 1. NB. The email is required for race number pickup.

Friday: from 15.00 to 21.00
Saturday: from 9.30 to 22.00
Sunday: from 6.30 to 7.30

Can I pick up another rider's race pack?

It is possible to pick up the race pack of another athlete registered in the race by downloading the appropriate proxy form from the Winning Time website and presenting it at the time of the withdrawal correctly completed. The module for the race pack will be available approximately 20 days before the race and will be downloadable only if the athlete is in good standing with the registration (correct data, validated payment, updated card ..).

From what time will the rankings be available and where?

The classifications will be shown next to the prize-giving area at the Fantini Club (Lungomare G. Deledda 182) as soon as the time-recording system has processed the results.

Classification processing with gun time for absolute and real time for categories.

The final rankings for the absolute will be provided within 1 hour from the end of the race, the other categories to follow. Classifications and diplomas will be available online from the day following the event.

Are there any agreements with hotels in the area?

Over 380 hotels in the town of Cervia-Milano Marittima, with services tailored to you and your companions. And our Sportur Club Hotel, by the sea, in front of the Fantini Club beach, a few steps from the start and the arrival of the Granfondo Via del Sale.

Can accompanying persons attend the final pasta party?

For the participants of the Granfondo Via del Sale the "all you can eat" pasta party is included in the registration fee. The accompanying persons can participate in the pasta party by purchasing the voucher at the price of 10 euros at the White Bar inside the Fantini Club.

Are there events designed for families and accompanying persons?

Of course. The Granfondo Via del Sale is much more than a granfondo, it is a true cycling festival that invades Cervia every year with a rich programme of side events dedicated to athletes and their families.

Is it possible to promote my company within the Expo Village?

Now in its 28th edition, the Granfondo Via del Sale is one of the reference cycling granfondos on the national scene, capable of involving 5,000 cyclists and generating more than 28,000 spectators. Added to these record-breaking numbers are the more than 100 companies that each year choose to participate in Italy's largest outdoor sector Expo.
